Abigail Badenhorst is a South African photographer and visual storyteller based in Pretoria, drawn to the beauty of the in-between - the fleeting, the overlooked, the imperfect, the unexpected and the beautifully ordinary.

Her work moves between people, fashion, products, beverages and documentary photography, exploring the many ways a story can take shape. Where every product and person has a certain beauty and uniqueness. Through color, contrast, lighting and composition, she finds herself drawn to the little things that make us look twice, feel something, or see something familiar in a different way.

With an eye for both the considered and the unexpected, Abigail approaches each subject as its own story, allowing room for experimentation, emotion and expression. Her background in visual communication and graphic design brings another layer to the way she sees, understands and communicates, where imagery becomes more than what is captured; it becomes a way of creating meaning.

At the heart of it all is a love for creation and the One who created it - a reminder that there is always more to see, more to feel, and more to find in the spaces in between.
